Black History Month: Arts, Entertainment, Shopping, and Education Events

Black History Month is February! The month is upon us, and my goal is to highlight events that will occur throughout the month to celebrate the history, accomplishments, and culture of Black Americans.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH WEBINARS

The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the generations of African Americans who struggled with adversity to achieve full citizenship in American society.

Check out their online learning opportunities here: https://www.blackhistorymonth.gov/.

As a veteran, I am always interested in military history. The Library of Congress is offering a webinar on African Americans in the Military Feb. 8.
